What inspired Billu's Kitchen

Billu's Kitchen didn't start in a restaurant. It started at the family dinner table. For years, the heart of the home was the sizzle of a wok and the smell of Chinese food drifting through the house.

Billu's wife has been cooking Chinese food since the 90s, and that's where the recipes (and the love behind them) began. Billu caught the same fire in 2012, and the two of them have been perfecting their dishes side by side ever since.

And every time family and friends came over, the story was the same: clean plates, full hearts, and someone insisting, “You have to open a restaurant.” For years they heard it. The food was simply too good to keep to themselves.

But life was full. Between raising four children and everything that comes with a busy household, there was never quite the time to chase the idea, so it stayed a someday dream.

Until now. With the push and encouragement of those same four kids, Billu and his wife are finally doing it. Billu's Kitchen is the answer to all those years of saying “someday”. It's their way of sharing the very dishes that had everyone hooked, made with the same care they've always put into every plate.
